This is my first week out of six months I get to be a Guest Designer for Whoopsi Daisy and I am just too excited and honored to be on the team! You should see what wonderful work the others on the team do! This week’s challenge is Shabby Chic. I’ve only recently gotten into this particular style. I used the cute little girl with the two dogs from Sheet 244 as my image. If you’ve never purchased a digi stamp from Whoopsi Daisy the way it works is…you buy sheets that have four or more stamps on them for $1.99 GBP or $3.23 US (they have a sweet freebie today!! AND They are having a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE SALE!!). What I do after I purchase a sheet is crop the images into individuals and “rename” them so that I can find them. I also like to keep the sheet whole so that I can use it that way if I choose. Here is my sweet Shabby Chic child.
This is an actual doily behind her. I found some little “starts” in a pack of goodies I got at a garage sale a long time ago and thought I’d be able to use them some day… I used my Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch on the bottom and a bunch of recollections brand flowers and pearls.
Hope you check out these digis! They are all just too adorable! A lot of them remind me of Holly Hobby from when I was a kid. There is such a wonderful selection to choose from too! A lot are great for the vintage look. They also have some beautiful fairy stamps!
