A Clean House

This week Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring C.R.A.F.T. Challenges.  Their challenge is “houses” (moving, house warming).  I came up with this sentiment for this one because it seems like the only time my house is ever truly clean is when we just move in.  And of course we are always happy because we are in a new place…right?  LOL  Truth is, I try to live by the motto A clean house never last…hugs and kisses do!  So, my house is usually a disaster area!  I used an image from Sassy Studio Designs called French Maid.  I added a lot of red, black and white to create this card – all of these papers were found among all of my older paper stash, I think I’ve had the black and white checkered paper for almost as long as I’ve been stamping (over 15 years), it is from Close To My Heart back when it became CTMH from D.O.T.S..  The tag even has three ribbons, red, black and white.  I used an embossing folder for the strip down the middle.  I used a scalloped round Marvy Paper Punch and a paper doily.  I loed the idea of using feathers on here since she was holding a feather duster!  I love how the red feathers ended up looking like a heart – totally accidental. Too fun huh?  🙂

Thanks for looking!
