PEACE SHORTS

The challenge this week at One Stitch At A Time is use a digi.  I was assigned a fun image from Delicious Doodles called Green Man.  I decided to create a pair of shorts that could be hung on a wall as “art”…for a young teen…  I added a rainbow piece symbol on the other pocket.  Put some flowers and leaves into the pockets.  I added a lace belt.  The zig zag stitch was created using an embossing folder.

***TIP***How to do the distressed/wrinkled look… 1.  Cut paper to desired shape  2.  take your squirt bottle and squirt the back side of that piece of paper  3.  scrunch into a ball (the tighter the better)  4.  Carefully open the ball back up  5.  let dry
