Thank You

I will be the first to admit I honestly do not know the difference or traditions between Japan or China…so not sure if this sweet little ‘Fred She Said‘ girl (Smelling the Cherry Blossom set) is Chinese or Japanese.  But the text is in Japanese.  My youngest just started High School this week.  The foreign language she will be taking is Japanese.  She came home today and informed me that her teacher from her Japanese class is her favorite so far.  So, I thought it would be fun to make a Thank You card for her…LOL  I went to Google Translate to get the translation and text.  I added some carnations, roses, lace, pearls, butterflies and a bow.

  1. Great design, Karen! The image is colored beautifully and the composition and color integration is quite nice! Thanks for stopping by our house at 613 Avenue Create!

  2. Fred She Said’s precoloured images are so quick and easy to work with. I like the brush technique you used on the edges. Ours is not a back-to-school theme, just sentiment, but I would consider this appropriate for a bts challenge since it is created for a teacher, IMHO. Thanks for playing.

  3. This is gorgeous Karen! the image is very beautiful and I love the pretty embellishments… the lace, flowers and butterflies are all perfect… what a fab idea to use the Google Translator for the Sentiment… I’m sure your daughter’s teacher will love this!
