as in I sure could use a nice long vacation.  Today’s challenge over at Outlawz is a CAS challenge, the theme is remembrance/celebrate.  I went with remembrance.  I made this card while thinking of the last true getaway I went on…when I was 7 or 8 yrs old.  My grandma wanted to take each one of her grandkids on a trip – one on one – so they would each have a special memory of her when she was gone.  So, we went from Salem, Oregon to San Francisco, California.  We started on the Amtrak (train), and rode for what felt like forever.  At one point we flew in an airplane…I didn’t know it at the time but apparently the plane lost one of it’s engines so we all had to stay buckled up for the remainder of the flight.  I found out after the fact…  Anyway, that is why I chose this fun image from Create With TLC (the sentiment is also from Create With TLC).  The collage is from the ‘Travel Collage Images” set.  The sentiment is from one of the “free with purchase” sets that was offered over the summer.
