My First Drawer Easel Card

I have seen so many of these sweet drawer easel cards and have been wanting to give it a go…I’m so glad I did!!  I just got this adorable image from SP Stamps and More, he is called Penguin With Gift.  I found the instructions on how to make this HERE.

I added some DP paper I got at the dollar store a couple years ago, flowers, a couple Knick Knack Holly & Berries from The Paper Studio, the presents and the “friends” sentiment are from a set I received several Years ago from a pack of scrapbooking things I won in a silent auction.  I also added strip gems and a pearl brad.  Oh gosh this was so fun to put together!!  Hope you enjoy it too!!

  9. I wonder what gift ‘Penguin will be delivering – it needs to be something very special to merit this absolutely gorgeous drawer easel card Karen. I love the way the top of the card is shaped as beautifully wrapped Christmas packages – a theme that you continued throughout with your choice of backing papers – so pretty and so effective. The flowers and holly add such a luxurious touch. Actually, this card is an awesome gift in itself and guaranteed to delight the recipient. Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team)

  10. This is such a great idea and your creation is immaculate. Now the gift that goes in there has to be better than the beautiful box and card. Thank you for sharing it with us at 613 Avenue create and also linking us to the video.
