My daughter is about to perform in another opera soon with Opera Idaho. This time they are doing one in English called Susannah. Crystal is in the chorus. I had to get this awesome image from Rick St. Dennis called Opera to celebrate her upcoming performance. No, my daughter isn’t a large woman, not at all. But, she does have a serious set of lungs! My girl can sing! I asked Paulette (from Create With TLC) if she had anything that would work with this image and she came up with an entire new set – she called it “I sing therefore I am“. For this card I used three things from the new set (two sentiments and the building). The new set includes the building image and five fun sentiments.
Awesome huh? The paper used was from Free Vintage Digital Stamps.
I have to tell you why I love these two sentiments for my daughter…1. When she sings opera she belts (like opera is meant to be sung). The neighbors down the street can hear her; even with the windows and doors closed (both ours and theirs). LOL So when she uses her “opera voice” EVERYONE can hear her! 2. The Me! Me! Me! sentiment is her to a tee! After all, she is a 19 yr old female! Need I say more? haha For those of you who have followed me for a while, do you remember the post of her singing at the Christmas concert a couple years ago? She was not miked yet she out sang her entire choir for her solo! LOL HERE IS THE LINK TO THAT IF YOU WANT TO HEAR IT. This was two years ago. Her voice has matured even more since then! Yep, I’m a proud mama!
Thanks again Paulette for pulling another AWESOME set together! 🙂
