A Snow Blower

This week at Incy Wincy Designs we are being sponsored by Saturated Canary. Our challenge is Non-Traditional Christmas Colors. I used some pink glitter paper, and the blue and white striped paper is from Keeping Memories Alive. I used two dies – the pink flourish die is a Sizzix Corner, Flourish #2. The leaves are from a die I got at Simon Says called CC Designs Cutters OLIVE BRANCH Die. The glitter brads are from Close To My Heart.

I used one of the sentiments that comes with the image. I did the second half larger and used scraps from the front of the card for the inside.

Santa This Way!!!

Panda-Monium

Oh this week’s challenge at Incy Wincy Design is Bears, Bears, Bears. We are being sponsored by StampFairy Shop. I used this adorable panda and created my own sentiment to go with him that I will share with you.

For this creating I used a leaf die, leaf embossing folder, round scallop dies and sentiment frame die. I added some roses, lace, gems, cheese cloth and one of my own stick pins.

I also created my own sentiment for this one. I will share it with you here too – to save it first left click on your mouse then right click and select save as.

A little Prayer

This week’s challenge over at Incy Wincy Designs is “Monochromatic Green”. We are sponsored by Care2Stamp. I had a hard time deciding what to do with this one… I used three different DP’s and a sentiment from Create With TLC. Can you see the two stick pins I made for this card? I thought the angel stick pin worked well for the sentiment and a fairy.

Do you ever make a card – just because or for a challenge and when you are done you look at it and just know who it has to go to? That is what happened to me with this one. I made this, looked at it and just knew I had to give it to a sweet lady who comes to visit me each month from my husband’s church. I said to myself “this needs to go to Julie”. So, when she and her visiting partner came to visit me this month, I made sure to give it to her. She almost cried and said she really needed this. Apparently, she’d been having a hard time of it. It just goes to show you – the spirit does speak to us in it’s still small voice, and it knows the needs of others… lesson learned God! Thank you!
